MAPLE CARDAMOM COCKTAIL (OR MOCKTAIL)
Cocktails don’t have to be complicated to be delicious! By making this syrup ahead of time, you’ll be able to create a few different spins on some classic cocktail recipes. And it’s always a good idea to have a fabulous mocktail recipe up your sleeve. The maple combined with cardamom adds a fantastic warmth to these cocktails. Perfect for cold winter nights!
INGREDIENTS – SIMPLE SYRUP
- ½ Cup Maple Syrup
- ½ Cup Water
- 1 Tbsp Cardamom
METHOD – SIMPLE SYRUP
Add maple syrup, water, and cardamom over medium heat in a small saucepan. Stir occasionally until the mixture is homogenous. Remove from her and allow to come to room temperature. 15-20 minutes. Use a fine mesh sieve, and strain the syrup into an airtight jar. Syrup will keep for up to 4 weeks, refrigerated.
PEAR MAPLE CARDAMOM GIN FIZZ
INGREDIENTS
- ½ oz Cardamom Maple Simple Syrup
- 2oz Gin
- 4 oz Pear Nectar
- 2 oz Prosecco
Sliced pear and cinnamon stick for garnish
METHOD
- In a cocktail shaker with ice add syrup, gin and pear nectar. Shake to combine.
- Strain over a glass with fresh ice and top with prosecco and garnish. Enjoy!
MAPLE CARDAMOM NEGRONI
INGREDIENTS
- ½ oz Cardamom Maple Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Gin
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz Vermouth
- Bay Leaf- for garnish
METHOD
Add syrup, gin, Campari, and vermouth in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine.
Strain over a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a bay leaf. Enjoy!
MAPLE PEAR CARDAMOM MOCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS
- ½ oz Cardamom Maple Simple Syrup
- 4oz Pear Nectar
- Soda Water
- Cinnamon stick for garnish
METHOD
- In a cocktail shaker with ice, add syrup and pear nectar. Shake to combine.
- Strain over a glass with fresh ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
